Uganda
is well known as the Pearl of Africa. However, the pearl is growing pale. The
desert will someday claim Uganda if no serious steps are taken. Deforestation
is threatening to claim the beautiful landscape of Uganda, which creates more
threats and dangers to the lives of residents both economically and socially.
Thanks to interested volunteers and responsible residents, CODEAPS has taken the initiative
to work with local residents to plant dual-purpose trees such as banana
trees.
